The British newspaper "The Times" said that Cindy McCain, the widow of the late Republican Senator, John McCain, will be appointed, if desired, as Washington's ambassador to the United Kingdom, by the next US president.
The newspaper linked the intention to be appointed by Joe Biden, the winner, according to the American media in the recent presidential elections, to this position, to its important role in achieving his victory over his opponent, Donald Trump, in Arizona.
"The Times" added that Cindy McCain, who is 66 years old, is the most likely to win this position, because a source close to Biden told the newspaper that the American embassy in London would go to McCain's widow "if she wanted her."
