14 Establishments Referring to Saudi Interior Ministry for Breaking Virus Restrictions

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) referred 14 establishments to the Ministry of Interior due to their failure to adhere to the precautionary measures in place to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease.

The SFDA had carried out 2,731 inspection visits to establishments throughout the Kingdom between Nov. 8 and 19.

The violations included a lack of commitment to safety guidelines, such as wearing face masks, securing sanitizers in designated places and taking the temperature of employees and customers prior to their entering a facility.

The tours were carried out in compliance with royal recommendations for ensuring the implementation of prevention measures to fight the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

They also come to emphasize that all parties abide by preventive and precautionary measures and protocols and to hold violators accountable.
