A helicopter carrying a donated heart to a patient crashed on the roof of a hospital in East Los Angeles, in the United States of America.

The three passengers on board survived, and were not severely injured, and a successful heart transplant for the patient was completed, according to the British newspaper "Daily Mail".

And a video clip showed firefighters and rescuers after the helicopter fell on the roof of Keck Hospital in Boyle Heights, along with a team carrying a donated heart.

According to eyewitnesses, the plane did not succeed in landing on the roof of the hospital properly, which made it hit the fence from its side.

The British newspaper indicated that rescue workers rushed to remove the heart from the helicopter after its fall, and were able to deliver the organ to a medical worker, who quickly rushed to the hospital, but he stumbled with the helicopter's debris, which caused the heart to fall without suffering any damage.
