China’s newest airport welcomed its first hotel as the Aerotel Beijing opened for guests at Beijing Daxing International Airport.
The Zaha Hadid designed airport opened its doors in China last week and the five-pronged building is now home to the country's largest in terminal international airport hotel.

Located in the northeast pier of the building, the Aerotel Beijing is ten-minutes walking distance from the international check-in desks, a factor that is handy considering that the airport is one of the largest in the world.
Check-out anytime you like

There are no set check-in or check-out times at the hotel. Instead, guests can pick their preferred times for either and will pay based on how many hours they intend to stay for.
Spanning 9,000 square metres and split over two storeys, the hotel has 215 guestrooms.
Every room comes with high-quality bedding, pillow menus and soothing lighting making it ideal for travellers who want to claim a few hours of sleep between flights. Those looking to freshen up can enjoy high-speed power showers. There’s also free WiFi and in-room IPTV.
Round-the-clock dining

When it comes to dining, the Library Lounge is open 24 hours a day and offers both buffet and a la carte dining.
Ideal for passengers with lengthy connections, the Fitness Corner and Game Room room are designed to keep travellers entertained while waiting.
China's starfish shaped airport opened in Beijing last week. The 700,000-square-metre terminal is one of the largest in the world and has four runways. It is eventually expected to handle 100 million passengers per year.
