The World Health Organization announced that the delta strain of the Corona virus, which was first seen in India, has been detected in about 100 countries and regions.
According to what was reported by China International Television Network (CGTN), Saturday 3-7-2-21, the Secretary-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, warned that the Delta strain is more easily transmitted, and that it has been detected in at least 98 countries.
Gebresus described the Delta lineage as "dangerous" and continuing to mutate.
By next August, the "delta" mutation is expected to become dominant across Europe, as restrictions are lifted across the continent, according to the American newspaper, "Washington Post".
