The Indonesian Ministry of Health said, on Sunday, that it has temporarily suspended the distribution of a batch of "AstraZeneca" vaccine for sterilization and toxicity tests, following reports of negative effects after vaccinations.
The batch consists of 448,480 vaccine doses that arrived in Indonesia last month, among the more than 3.85 million doses to be received in succession.
The ministry said in a statement that some doses of this vaccine had been distributed before that in part of the capital Jakarta and North Sulawesi region.
