Yemeni President Hadi in Oman

MUSCAT -  Yemeni President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi arrived in the Omani capital Muscat on Tuesday in an official two-day visit, coming from Kuwait.

In Muscat, President Hadi held talks with Omani Sultan Qaboos bin Said, in which the two Arab leaders reviewed the bilateral cooperation relations between Yemen and Oman as well as the latest developments in Yemen, specially the implementation of the GCC-brokered political initiative and its implementation mechanism.

President Hadi briefed Sultan Qaboos the procedures, steps and decisions that have been taken to ensure the success of the peaceful transition process and avoid chaos and wars.

For his part, Sultan Qaboos said that he was following closely events and developments taking place in Yemen, hoping Yemen get out safely of the crisis and restore security and stability.

He also praised the extraordinary and tireless efforts made by President Hadi in order to move Yemen towards security and stability.

Before arriving at Muscat, President Hadi had left Kuwait after a two-day visit in which he held official talks with Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and senior Kuwaiti officials on mutual relations between the two countries.
