It also aims to accelerate achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) via an executive package could improve the performance level, al-Hawiri said.

According to the report, Yemen could probably realize the MDG of basic education for all completely by 2015, adding that achievement of the goal has already reached 70 percent, he added.

Al-Hawiri said that the national report showed that the improvement in the health indicator could make Yemen come close to achieve the MDG of child mortality reduction.

In spite of an acceptable improvement in the rest of MDGs, they are hard to be realized due to the lack of financial resources, al-Hawiri said.
